Library of Congress Call Numbers

Books about non-profit are located in several areas.Within each collection, materials are usually arranged and located by call numbers. The call number refers to a subject. Most of the library's materials in the area of nonprofit organizations are assigned the following call numbers.

  • HD 62.6 (Nonprofit Management)
  • HD 2769.15 (Nonprofit Industry)
  • HF 5415 (Nonprofit Organizations - Management)
  • HG 4027.65 (Nonprofit Organizations - Finance)
  • KF 1388 (Nonprofit Organizations - Taxation)

Find Books via Auraria Library

  • Search for a book by author, title, subject or keyword(s) describing your topic.
  • Your results will contain both print books and ebooks.
    • For print books, write down the call number to locate the book in the Library.
    • For ebooks, an oranage "online" icon will appear beside the title. Click on the title to access the full-text.

Note: Though using Skyline can be a quick way to limit a search to print or ebooks, Skyline does not contain a great number of ebooks the Library offers through databases.  For a thorough search of book holdings, use the Start My Research method above.

  • Enter an author's name, a title, subject or keyword(s) describing your topic in the search box.
  • Using the Material Type drop down menu, limit your results to books or ebooks.
  • When the results appear, click on the book title to open the book record.
  • If the book is a print book, write down the call number to locate the book in the Library.
  • If the book is an ebook, click on Connect to resource to access the full-text.
