Public Affairs is a program that prepares students to work in management in agencies of federal, state & local governments. Public Affairs expertise is also useful in nonprofit organizations & other NGOs. The practical field covers various aspects of public administration; the management of public policy; legislative relations; the budgetary process and finance; administrative law; public personnel management; professional ethics; and research methodology. As such, Public Affairs involves many subject areas.
