Women, Gender and Queer Studies

Compiled by the Austin Lesbian Activism in the 70's Herstory Project (often called the ALA's). The ALA's are a small group of lesbians engaged in the work of collecting, organizing, preserving and teaching the herstory of Austin's lesbian community during the decade of the 1970's.

Supports aspiring advocates, victim assistance professionals, crisis responders, civilian and government advocacy groups, and allied professionals working with victims of crime and crisis. Their work extends to political advocacy to support public policy promoting victims’ rights.
