There are relatively few specialized journals that focus on folklore & folklife & the best single database for searching those is JSTOR. However, JSTOR won't have the most recent articles available--for those, using the library's "Start My Research" search box covers all of the critical titles. Just make sure to use a "facet limit" in the Subject Terms list--choose "Folklore" to help restrict your articles to that topic area.
