Public health involves the physical, mental and environmental health of communities. It includes assessment and monitoring of the health of at risk populations, formulating public policies, and facilitating knowledge of and access to appropriate, cost-effective health care. Because public health is by definition an interdisciplinary effort you will need to investigate resources from many fields including education, environmental sciences, and behavioral sciences.
