Welcome to the History Guide. This guide is intended to help you research a variety of history sources. It will introduce you to our history databases and help you find primary sources for your research.
Historians often discuss history using the concepts time and space. Both the time period and the location are important elements in any historical research. Consider your research topic and which time periods and locations are relevant to your research. Use these concepts when you chose a topic and begin to do your research.
Remember Start My Research, the library's broadest search tool, when researching. You can also use one of the subject-specific "best bet" databases on this homepage.
